Education

Blue Community Makeover for Water Quality logo

Seminars for property owners, youth groups and other citizens who want to be involved will be held at Pearl Park and other locations in the neighborhood. Residents are encouraged to sign pledges to improve their lawn care practices and to “adopt” a specific storm drain and keep it clear of debris.

Workshops will provide information about Diamond Lake’s water quality status and explain in detail the various solutions to be implemented during the 2010 Blue Community Makeover. See the Workshops page for the list.

Volunteers are needed and there is hands-on activity available for everyone who wants to participate. Learn more here.

All projects will be supervised by qualified landscape installers.
