Volunteer

Volunteers are needed!

As you know, to meet the grant requirements, all Go Blue! particpants must volunteer 10 hours per household.  If you’ve met with a designer or attended a raingarden workshop, you’re already well on your way (keep track of those activities–you’ll be asked to complete a volunteer form later).

It’s easy to do.

As luck would have it, Go Blue! has some fun & easy volunteer needs that can also help you meet the requirement…. the most pressing need is for numerous volunteers to make light work of the big Go Blue! Diamond Lake celebration picnic June 18 at Pearl Park.

We hope you are planning to bring the whole family to this exciting celebration! We also hope you can spare an hour handing out our cool Go Blue! t-shirts—or dishing up hot dogs—or something. Go Blue! households and volunteers get free t-shirts! (So recruit a friend to volunteer—they get a t-shirt, too.)

See the complete list of volunteer opps, below, then….

To volunteer, please contact Gail Schaal at 763-392-5920 or gschaal@hedbergaggregates.com ASAP.  We especially need to get volunteers for the picnic signed up this week.

Thank you for being part of Go Blue! and helping to improve Diamond Lake!
